Treatment abroad?

Before you book the ticket.

Every year hundreds of men from every region of the Kingdom fly abroad for implant and infertility surgery, convinced it is cheaper and better there. Most of the complications Dr. Rabea treats come back from those trips. This page isn't against any doctor — it is for follow-up.

“It's cheaper in Jordan or Egypt.”
Add two tickets, a hotel, a companion and the second trip for follow-up — then the revision in Jeddah if something goes wrong. Same device from the same manufacturer, comparable price. The real cost is what you pay twice.
“The famous doctor is there.”
Fame is measured in posts. What you need is the surgeon who sees you on day two and in year one. Ask any surgeon: who repairs the complication?
“Nobody here does it at that level.”
Three years of fellowship at McGill University, Canada, in andrology and male infertility — a credential few in the whole region hold. Same devices, same technique, same standards.
“It's more discreet far from home.”
Discretion is one coordinator, an evening slot and a doctor who never jokes — not a border. And nobody abroad will see you when it hurts.
“What if it gets infected?”
Here is the rate, here is the protocol, and here is what the doctor does on day two if he doesn't like what he sees. Abroad, that call goes unanswered.
A second opinion before you fly

A second opinion before you fly

If you already have a surgeon's number in Amman or Cairo, that's fine. Ask for a second-opinion consultation in Jeddah first: the same examination, the same explanation, then decide. The consultation commits you to nothing.
