The questions nobody dares to ask

Every question here has been asked in clinic more than once. If yours isn't here, send it on WhatsApp — privately.

Before booking

Can I book without a phone call?

Yes. One WhatsApp message is enough; the clinic coordinator replies within the hour, 9 AM to 11 PM.

Who reads my message?

One coordinator only. No details are shared, and prices are never discussed in writing.

Can my wife attend?

Welcome in every consultation — and preferred in infertility and implant cases.

Can I send my reports before the appointment?

Yes — send the analysis or reports on WhatsApp so the doctor reviews them in advance.

How much does surgery cost?

Cost is discussed in clinic after examination, once every fear is answered. For most patients price isn't the real question — trust is.

Implants

Is the surgery painful?

It is done under general anaesthesia. Pain afterwards is moderate for a few days and controlled with painkillers; many are surprised it's milder than they imagined.

How long does an implant last?

Many years — often beyond 10 to 15. When needed it is replaced in a procedure simpler than the first.

My implant got infected and the surgery was done abroad — do you take the case?

Yes. The device is removed, the infection treated, then a new implant placed after healing. This is one of the most common cases Dr. Rabea receives.

Does an implant affect sensation or ejaculation?

No. The implant addresses rigidity only; sensation, ejaculation and desire are unchanged.

Infertility & varicocele

When should I get tested?

After a year of trying without pregnancy — or right away if there is a varicocele, a previous poor analysis or a failed IVF cycle.

Does varicocele repair improve the analysis?

In most patients, after three to six months. Not in all — and you are told that before surgery.

Is IVF faster than surgery?

Sometimes. And sometimes surgery fixes the cause and makes natural pregnancy possible or improves the IVF result. The decision comes after analysis and examination, with both partners.

The embarrassing ones

Erectile difficulty on the honeymoon — is it a disease?

Usually stress, not disease. One consultation before marriage saves months of anxiety.

Are the blue pills bad for the heart?

Not harmful to a healthy heart, but they interact with some cardiac drugs. Prescribed after a consultation — not straight from the pharmacy.

Does pornography weaken desire?

Excessive use blunts the natural response in many men. It is discussed respectfully in clinic as part of the full picture.

Penile lengthening or enlargement surgery?

Most don't deliver what they promise and some cause harm. Dr. Rabea gives the honest opinion — even when it's “don't”.

If you would like to speak to a specialist.

One message, no phone call. Read only by the clinic coordinator.
